The Beach - Day 6

Wondering where Day 5 is?  Me too.  Can't believe I didn't take any pics for a whole day.  Who am I anymore? ;-)

We finally broke down and took Marek's exersaucer down to the beach to see if he'd last longer.  Didn't make a huge difference. :-)  Looks thrilled, doesn't he?

Ellison and Daddy caught the little tiny fish again this year - the ones that come in with the waves.  She named them, "Pally, Mally, and Tally" for the day.

Daddy took good care of us all, always getting our beach spots all situated.  That's the PIA job!

A few times a day, choppers would fly right over us - usually Coast Guard.

Ellison loved galloping and pumping her arms up and day, pretending she was a horse.  Her name was "Buttercup Sunshine Jewely".  She would try to outrun the waves.

It was a hazy day from the wildfires burning up north.

How I love catching glimpses of interactions between these two.

This was Ellison feeding her brother for the first time.  She was so proud.

So Grandma had found a sand dollar on her walk earlier, and put it in the sand for Ellison to find.  Every year we are always in search of the hard-to-find sand dollars and came up empty handed last year.  So Ellison thought it was so cool to "find" one.  Then Jonathan actually bought a big one at a store, then buried it here for Ellison to find.  You would've thought she struck gold.  She kept saying, "Can you believe how lucky I am?!"

It doesn't get better than jammies on the beach, too!
