The next morning didn't fare very well, either. Apparently, when they hopped in the car to go to The Holy Land Experience ("Experiment" as Ellison calls it), Papa left his iPhone on top of the car, and off they drove down the highway before he realized it. So they had to backtrack in an attempt to find it, but no luck. So they spent the morning looking for it, driving back, and then calling to cancel the service. Bummer! But alas, they finally made it to the Holy Land Experience. This was the original place Ellison claimed she wanted to have G & P take her to. She had been seeing commercials on the Smile of a Child Network on TV for quite some time, and was so set that she wanted to go there. After realizing it was in Orlando, Gram suggested they go to Disney and Sea World also. Um, OK!
We laughed, because Mama didn't realize Ellison had outgrown these pants! Poor girlfriend had to wear almost-capris the whole time, and we didn't gauge the weather quite right, either. Oh well.
Grandma said she told Ellison to go up so she could take a picture of her with Baby Jesus, and Ellison was not too keen on doing that.
They got experience what the Last Supper might have been like, which was cool.
Can't help but snicker at this pic. Doesn't the Lays Potato Chip bag just give the setting a nice touch?
In the children's area, there was not a single other child around! Not one!
Ellison has a thing for white horses now. They are her faves.
Silly Papa
I love that Ellison's body position and look are just perfect for this.

After seeing a couple of shows or worship things, they finished up at HLE then headed over to Animal Kingdom to catch The Lion King show, which Grandma and Papa LOVED when they brought Lucas to Disney last spring.
They ate at the Rain Forest Cafe, which Ellison thought was so cool.
The fabulous Lion King show
Can you see another animal baby she adopted?
They ran into the characters from the movie "Up". They borrowed her Simba Cub...

Then they told her to hold the lion cub up (just as was done in the movie).
Then they told her she had to do it again, in more dramatic fashion, but missy was a little timid...
And again, they made her perfect her presentation of the Lion King, while they bowed down. :-)
Then hugs all around...
The day started off rough, but it sure ended on a great note!
