Those big Christmas balls that are made of a string of lights are our favorite Christmas decor. Jonathan decided that he and the kids would make one every year as a little tradition, starting with this year. So he and Mookie went to town doing up the very first one. Ellison loves helping out her dad, and working with tools, too.
I forgot to show the finished product. But it was funny, after driving home from somewhere one evening with Ellison, she was very pensive about the ball. She explained, "Mom, I don't think we should hang our Christmas ball outside this year. We should wait until next year when we have another one, because I think one ball looks trashy." Alrighty, then.
