On the last day of Grinning Gators, they had a little Swim Final for the parents to watch. Daddy braved the intense heat during his lunch hour, and was completely drenched in his black shirt and jeans. Each kid did various strokes across the pool. Ellison did so good! She really benefited a lot from all the practice this year, and finally made it to where she could swim across the pool, which meant she now loves jumping off the diving board regularly.

It was so cute because inevitably some of the kids ended up a little crooked in their lanes during the backstroke. ;-)

After the medal ceremony, the kids all celebrated with some cake. Ellison was being good sister and helping Marek take a drink. :-)
Way to go, Mookie! We are so proud of you and how hard you worked! It was so fun and exciting watching you progress this summer!
