Ellison was very excited for recital day to arrive. As is usually the case with our little family, we had two separate car loads - the first load with Ellison and all the ladies, and the second load with Buddy and all the gents.
Aunt Carrie and Uncle Jeff pulled in the driveway from Michigan just as we were leaving for the recital, so they stayed behind.

Yes, Ellison was one lucky girl - not only did our little family go to support her, but G & G were there, Olivia, and Nonne Joan & Poppi Bill (our NC family next door) even came along. It was so sweet of them to come support Bugsy. We had fun.

Mookie and Mama. Daddy bought flowers for our little dancer, but Daddy and the boys had to make a quick getaway since Pork Chop was hitting the wall.
Before we left, Ellison's little friend came running up to her, Ellison cried out her name, and the two embraced. Too cute.
Mookie did a great job onstage! We were all so proud!
