Marek still loves the dishwasher, and knows how to open it, much to our dismay. Speaking of getting into things he's not supposed to (going off on a quick tangent), we bought covers for our stove knobs since he had been turning on our burners without our knowledge (in addition to messing with the temperature while I would try to cook - not easy cooking with one hand while holding your other hand over the knob). So we thought we'd be all clever and Marek-proof our stove knobs. Went to Babies 'R Us and bought the individual covers that go over them. It took him all of 30 minutes to figure out how to open up the covers. And continue to pull the knobs off the stove. Now I have a daily search come dinner time, since half of the knobs are missing. We find them in the spice drawer, the pantry, the dining room, etc. OK, back to my post at hand...
So here is Marek in one of his fave spots - on the clean dishwasher door. I'm waiting for the day I have to break it to Jonathan that we need to buy a new dishwasher.
He enjoys travel coffee mugs for some reason...
My beautiful, sweet Mookie. She has been really helpful lately - really getting independent helping to get Marek's (and even mine and Daddy's) breakfast around for us. She looks so old in this photo. Can't believe where the time has gone. The other night as she stayed up later than usual due to the thunderstorm, Jonathan was showing us tons of little video clips on the computer from when she was little. It was so crazy - hearing her little voice, seeing how much she and Marek resemble each other, seeing how little she was. Ugh.
