Well, it was Bubba's turn at having Grandma do his hair - Ellison got her salon appointment, I had mine and had her hack off about 5-6 inches, so it was time to christen Marek with the experience. He was in need of some fixin' on the left side of his head. Little whisps of hair extending over his ear were calling out for scissors, but we HAD to wait so Gram could give him his first hairchut. Marek didn't just want the salon deal, though, he wanted a whole spa atmosphere...
We quickly found out upon arrival in Michigan that Marek's hiney is WAY too slippery for G&P's bathtub. Even with one person holding onto him and the other washing his bod, there were far too many tsunamis. So kitchen sink baths it was the rest of the time we were there. Marek was occupied enough during the trimming of his little tendrils, but our little nosehole always wanted to see what was going on.
Cousin Livy lent a hand...
Clippers get involved now. Now you KNOW he wanted to check those out!
Nothing scares this kid. He kept wanting to touch the clippers. (I'm so glad there happened to be a strategically placed "A".)
Our handsome little man - he did so awesome for his first haircut!
