We've been so cooped up this fall and winter. It's been difficult. But once Butters finally got better after being sick for 7 weeks, and then went right into a cold, we still were taking every precaution possible so we could get to Michigan without him going back downhill. We were having such nice weather, that I finally had enough and bundled the kids up so we could take a short jaunt over to Mr. Fern's house around the corner to look at his Christmas decorations. It's always been the thing to do every season since he goes all out with inflatables and such.
Hard to believe we started taking Ellison to do this when she was around Marek's age. Crazy!
