It is very rare for us to get to meet our friends-with-older-children, since we have nap times and school pick-ups to work around. But it just so happened that a few of my friends were getting together one late morning at Starbucks, and it was after Marek's naptime but before needing to pick up Ellison. It was so nice to get together with Karen just before her birthday, and to see Nancy and Cindy. And the weather was gorgeous to where we could sit outside. Karen's been anxious to hold Marek ever since he was born, but she had only seen him in quick passings. My little Superman enjoyed chilling with the ladies and throwing his toys on the ground repeatedly. :-)
