Ellison's Artistic Side

So one of the upsides of the week was the Pony Passion Art Camp that Ellison attended at our friend, Anja's, house.  She LOVED it and came home with the cutest projects!  Ellison loves ponies/horses.  I regret not having signed her up for some of the other art camps.  Poor Bubbers was a trooper being in the car for almost 2 hours total every day we took her.  He just kept looking over at her seat, like, "Where's my Sissy?"

With her creative juices flowing, Ellison built "a fort" around her poor brother while I was cooking dinner.  I walked in the living room only to be able to see Marek's upper third.  He kept trying to jump in the jumperoo all the while Sissy would pile her fallen objects right back on. ;-)

"Help.... me..."
In other exciting news, Marek learned how to shake his head "no"!  It is the cutest darn thing ever!  Me and Jonathan were both squealing and laughing when we discovered his latest trick.  You look at him and shake your head, "No, no, no, no, no!", and he starts shaking his head back and forth and smiling!  Sometimes his little body shakes back and forth, too.  LOVE IT!  It brought back how exciting this first year is - all the little milestones that mean so much as a parent.
