The time of year finally came for Ellison - dance recital time. Time for full-out make-up and fancy outfits. Since we could only take pics and videos of the stage at the dress rehearsal, here is where the bulk is. This year their tap routine was to "Hot, Hot, Hot", and their ballet routine was to "High Hopes".

Once again, Ellison did a fabulous job doing her routine! It was cute because at one point during the ballet, she yawned. :-) It was an early morning for us.
Great job, Elli! It was so much fun watching you have such a great time up there!
After returning home to Dada (that's what she calls him lately) and Marek, Lindsay came over in the evening to babysit the kids while Jonathan and I went to such a lovely party at our friends Ryan & Rebecca's house. It was such a gorgeous summery evening, with good food, good beverages, a good bluegrass band, and good company. Ellison was in her glory with her beloved Lindsay, too.
