Finally, we were together as a family again. For lunch after church, Ellison wanted to go to the Olive Garden - it's her favorite restaurant because she's in love with the breadsticks. We didn't object to that choice.
Houdini thinks any lock or childproofed item is merely a challenge. Trying to unlock the door:

It's nice and relaxing until Bubba starts climbing all over you to get to la piece de resistance, which in this case was the thermostat.

Notice how we've given up on this little battle. He does far worse things that need attention and discipline - this one we don't feel like battling anymore. Yes, lazy.
