Ellison got to do Safety Town every morning for two weeks this summer. She absolutely LOVED it! This is such a cool city program for 5 and 6 year olds. The police department partner with other organizations, as well as the fire department, ambulance service, drug and alcohol programs, etc. The kids learn all about safety topics, and get to drive around in a little gated "town", complete with little buildings, a stoplight, and such, and the kids each get to drive their own little kettler cars and obey traffic rules. Way cool. I will post pics soon.
After dropping off Ellison one morning, I stopped by the park with Marek before the heat kicked up too much.
