Thank God for Grandma, Papa, and Olivia being around by the time Ellison had her dress rehearsal for her dance recital. It was nice to have some one-on-one time with Mookie, which is rare. Since cameras and video cameras were only allowed during dress rehearsal, you can be sure I came armed. :-)
Ellison had a hard time parting with two of her new stuffed animals, Nibbles and Safari, courtesy of none other than G & G.
That would be Mookster right smack in the middle of the photo, dancing to her tap routine to the tune of "Party Rock Anthem". So cute!

Ellison is very graceful in ballet.
Our girl did SO great! Even when you know she's not putting 100% into her dance classes (she claims to get tired out easy), she always delivers come dance recital time. The last couple of months of dance class, she claimed she didn't want to dance again next year. By the time recital time finally came, she was all pumped back up about it again. I remember doing the same thing. :-)
My cheap self didn't have her do the studio portraits this year, since the most basic of packages included, like, 55 photos. So here's our mega-amateur photo shoot taken in the parking lot area of the Greensboro Coliseum after rehearsal.
