It felt like a perfect summer day, only it was spring. But when the temp finally hit close to 90 degrees, I finally relented in letting Ellison get out the sprinkler. She saw Alyssa and invited her to join in. They were freezing cold, but giggling and smiling the whole time.
Had to get a shot of my favorite cankles ever with that fat little big toe.
At one point, Ellison grabbed Marek's hand and led him toward the sprinkling water. He was not happy about it. But he looked so darn cute with that nappy hair.
Always digging in his ears. Always making this Mama second guess if he's doing it out of fascination for the hole in the side of his head, or if he's getting an ear infection.
My Mookie. She had so much fun.
Watching those crazy girls...
As if it didn't already feel like a summer day, the ice cream truck came chiming its way up our street. And unbelievably, I happened to have a few dollars on me. That never happens.
After their frozen treats, Destiny and Ashley rode their bikes over, and before you know it, I had four wet girls on my hands. Ellison was in heaven. She asks to get out the sprinkler now anytime its 70 degrees or higher.
