12/1

So we feel confident that we're going to have a "lefty" on our hands.  95% of the time, Marek uses his left hand.  I've tried getting him to use a spoon, but he simply has no desire.  He likes to get to know his food on an intimate level.  He'll put a spoon in his hands, and even scoop a little, but then he won't put it to his mouth.  I try to help him do so, and he pushes against me like a champion arm wrestler.  Then he drops the spoon, and digs in with his hands, or he'll simply play with the spoon... and food...

He is so silly - whenever there is food on the utensil, and any tiny droplet of it is hanging over the edge or on the backside, he has to ever-so-delicately take his little finger to it.  Like this acorn squash - you know those super-thin strands that are in it?  One little fine one would be hanging over, and all eating would cease until he would take his little index finger to gently push it back and forth.

So we thought we were safe putting food in a suction bowl since everything else gets thrown onto the floor.  Muscles, here, pushes with all of his might until the sucker comes loose and he can dump out the contents.

Marek was late for a very important business meeting...
Hinney was trying on his Christmas duds.  Mr. GQ.

Ummm, so the pants will fit him when he's 5.  But we can't get over the clip-on tie, so it's a keeper.
