Well these two are clearly not old friends... ;-)
The two babes of the group: Andrew and Marek. They are just about 6 weeks apart in age.
We loved watching Marek interact with Andrew. He clearly was a fast friend. :-)
So we (and the Sciolinos) went over to the Ortolanos' house on Friday night for pizza (though Jody outdid herself making it much more than just pizza). The last time we all got together at their house was 3 years ago. So crazy to see how much the kids have all changed. We did miss out on seeing the LoTempios, though, who had sick kids and a funeral. :-(
Jack, Andrew's older brother. He was just a baby when we last saw him!
The boys: Jonny, Kevin, and Sal
Ellison, Ava, and Salvatore (who was only 2 weeks old last time!) Ellison wasted no time trying on Ava's dress-up clothes. Ava is a total little mother. She just enthusiastically entertains the kids.
Andrew and Marek hung out by the register taking turns stealing toys while we ate.
Ava and Andrew, Massimo and Marek. Massimo was so awesome with the babies, too!
Me and Kevin

The dads with some of their sons. :-)
Ellison and her BFF for the night. Ava offered to let her keep all kinds of things - dress up clothes, toys, etc. After reminding Ellison that we had to fly home with the stuff, she settled for an Aurora dress-up dress, Dorothy shoes, a baby Belle, and a little toy train for Marek. Thanks, Ava! Ellison still talks about "that girl with the sparkly shirt" when she wants me to remind her of her name.
We had such a nice time catching up with everyone! We keep saying that one day we'll be able to sit and chat like normal people, instead of trying to keep babies content and out of trouble while we try to inhale our food, and make it home to put said overtired babies to bed. But, hey, it's the stuff that dreams are made of, right? One day we'll also give anything to have them little again.
